As a Financial Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:

Responsibility for bookkeeping and account reconciliation
Processing of incoming and outgoing invoices, including invoice verification
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Handling internal and external payments as well as liquidity planning
Supporting the preparation of financial reports and analyses
Communication with tax advisors, authorities, and other external partners
Maintenance and further development of DATEV applications and processes

Your profile

Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification in finance and accounting
Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a medium-sized company
Solid experience in using DATEV software
Proficient in common MS Office applications, especially Excel
Good knowledge of German tax law and the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Excellent command of the English language
Independent, structured, and reliable working style
Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a high level of commitment

Als Financial Accountant zählen zu Ihren Aufgaben im Wesentlichen die nachfolgenden Aufgaben:

Verantwortung für die Buchführung und Kontenabstimmung
Bearbeitung von Eingangs- und Ausgangsrechnungen sowie Rechnungsprüfung
Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen nach HGB
Durchführung des internen und externen Zahlungsverkehrs und der Liquiditätsplanung
Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Finanzberichten und -analysen
Kommunikation mit Steuerberatern, Behörden und anderen externen Partnern
Pflege und Weiterentwicklung der DATEV-Anwendungen und -Prozesse

Profil

Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung oder vergleichbare Qualifikation im Bereich Finanz- und Rechnungswesen
Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Finanzbuchhaltung, idealerweise in einem mittelständischen Unternehmen
Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Anwendung von DATEV-Software
Sicherer Umgang mit den gängigen MS-Office-Anwendungen, insbesondere Excel
Gute Kenntnisse im deutschen Steuerrecht und HGB
Sehr gute Englisch Sprachkenntnisse
Selbstständige, strukturierte und zuverlässige Arbeitsweise
Teamfähigkeit, Kommunikationsstärke und hohe Einsatzbereitschaft
